"Hotel staff were very helpful, the only comment I would make is the lifts were grubby and the hotel corridors were in need of decoration carpets worn and threadbare, the room was adequate and tidy and our stay was pleasant."

"Bed frame was very squeaky when sit on it. Front desk told me that its the same in the other remaining room which was true to my surprise. Room was muggy warm, needed to use a fan to cool down; window locked closed. Bathroom was missing a set of towels for 2nd person. Front desk was friendly trying to help. Buffet Breakfast was good though."

"We were very disappointed with our stay and unfortunately will not be returning due to the service we received. While I was taking a short 15-minute break in the sauna, I left my toddler with my teenage daughter by the pool. My daughter was using her phone only to play a video for the toddler to keep her calm and distracted while waiting for me. A staff member told her not to use the phone, so she understood that photos were not allowed and put the phone away in the bag, facing only towards the toddler so she could continue watching the video. Despite this, she was approached again and told off, even though other adults around the swimming pool were openly using their phones without any issue. My daughter felt unfairly targeted and embarrassed. The staff were unsupportive, inconsistent, and lacked basic customer care. On top of this, the cleanliness standards were poor. The evening before, our toddler dropped fries under the table during dinner in the restaurant. The next morning at breakfast we were seated at the same table, and the fries from the previous night were still there. That says a lot about the level of cleaning and attention to hygiene."

"Stain on carpet and sheets after room was “cleaned”, no fridge, other than that room was spacious and relaxing. No smart TV and no access to the back for a firestick so stuck with free view channels "

"Before you book, know that the primary business here is as a VERY popular family friendly pub! Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, though there's an expectation that you already know things and the anticipation that you are going to ask things that are wildly off target. The room was spacious and fairly comfortable, though needing a bit of attention--peeling paint, saggy loveseat, better pillows. A good place for a base to explore the region and basically be a place to sleep between excursions."

"Rooms were clean, spacious and recently updated, as was the rest of the hotel. EV charging parking beneath the hotel was really useful and a nice surprise as it wasn’t listed in the property details. Lifts in the hotel however were very poor with long queues and very slow, seemingly random responses when called. Many guests gave up and hauled luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs. Room key system also had issues on the morning of departure with multiple guests being unable to re-enter their rooms after breakfast (ours was reset 3 times in succession) and this was compounded by guests having to wait an age for the lifts. "

"Hotel itself was clean and maintained well. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well. My issue with this hotel is that I booked and paid for a room that had 2 single beds and a double bed. When checking in I was informed that it was hotel policy that only 2 adults per room and given a room with a single bed and a double bed. My friend had to book her own room on the spot because of that yet the website and booking company never stated there was a 2 adult per room policy. "
