"We had a very clean and comfortable room, all the Staff were very friendly and helpful, we did not use the WI-Fi, there did not appear to be any shops nearby but the City centre shops are not to far to walk to and the amenities in the hotel were readily available and we had a lovely weekend. Thank you."

"The ambience of the hotel 💯 . The rooms and common areas were very clean. The breakfast was five star standard honestly. Then I came in with my nephew of 2 years and the staff were really nice and they were baby friendly (gave him crayons and toys) . I would recommend staying here with family when on holidays . "

"The pool / gym facilities are a real highlight of this hotel and the kids loved having a swim. Sadly I was disappointed with many other aspects. The hotel is well maintained but the cleanliness of the room we were in was questionable! The kettle was dusty and had stale water sat in the bottom. As it was I couldn’t make a drink as the cups and tea spoons were so dusty and dirty and had either never been used and just gathered dust or grime or had not been changed from a previous occupier. We were here for 2 nights but housekeeping changed towels but nothing else - no beds made, no bins emptied. This was despite leaving the card out asking for our room to be refreshed. There were also used cups / wine glasses left outside my room for 2 days that were not ours and had either been left by another resident or house keeping. Either way they should not have been there for that amount of time. Breakfast doesn’t begin till 8am at the weekends which we found to be a little late. Also the queues at the hot food were really long straight away, which probably means that many others thought it started too late as well. The staff were friendly, beds comfortable but rather small and a real lack of drawer storage and no space for toiletries in the bathroom. Overall an okay stay for a quick stop over stay but I wouldn’t rush back. "

"Communication regarding check-in was awful. Room was really cold when I got in. Couldn't lock door at first, had to mess about freeing rhe lock (should not be my job!!) No towels or soap available. No hot water on tap. No tea/coffee making facility, although there was a kettle so at least I could get some hot water, but no cups/mugs. Went down into what I'd believed was a communal lounge & kitchen to be told by a chap who was sleeping in the lounge that it is a private room (No lock on door!!) Woke this morning to an extremely cold room, couldn't turn on heater"
