"We were the only ones there (it's a small place with only 3 cabanas), and it was absolutely perfect. We found it on a whim after bailing on our other accommodations, as the town where we were was unbearably hot. When we drove up into the hills using the excellent directions they sent, we arrived to a cool breeze, a pool all to ourselves, very friendly service, and a spectacular view. "The property was clean, the people were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a little far from the airport at 2 plus hours. Besides that the resort was nice. The beach was really a beach. The black sands were beautiful. The entertainment was cool. The 4 pools were helful. The sound of the ocean at night is priceless. Late April the temp was great also. My 1st Riu hotel visit but it most definitely will not be my last. I had a great time. It was for my daughter's 30th bday. Thanks"
