Top Lands End Hotel Reviews

Treloyhan Manor
10/10 Excellent
"The room is spacious and clean, also included bread, oats, yogurt, orange juice and milk for breakfast. However there's a fire alarm in the morning woke us up at 8:30am. We skipped our dinner at a restaurant rushed back to the hotel for the swimming and spa, as the reception told us the swimming pool opens till 8:30pm, but when we reached at 6pm, they told us from 6:30pm only available for 16+, my son is 13, so they offer us hot tub, we got change and went back to the reception after half an hour, waited for some time then they told us they don't have the key for the green house so cannot offer the hot tub. We booked 2 nights of the hotel because my son wanted to swim, very disappointed. "

The Pirate Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We were very impressed with the welcome, and the pod was ideal for single night stay before heading to the isles of Scilly.

Harbour Hotel St Ives
4/10 Poor
"Disappointing
Although refurbished to a good standard, the hotel has unfortunately kept a 1930s style lift, great to look at, but quite useless as a functioning lift. Particularly useless if you’re on the fourth floor as it only goes to three. It has a metal shutter style inner door that if left open when leaving, renders the lift inoperable. In a three day stay I had to find the lift on at least six occasions to close the door as my wife needed to use it. I would therefore, not recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility problems.
The staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be. Evening meals were good but kept the same menu so quite repetitive. The English breakfast was inedible. Fried egg burnt on the bottom, raw on top. Sausage with a skin so tough it was difficult to cut, and the remainder of the items had spent too long under a heat lamp so they had dried out.
Great views but the hotel needs some sorting out.

The Queens Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very friendly staff, comfortable stay."

Tregenna Castle Resort
8/10 Good
"Lovely stay with tasty menus, only downside was the lack of hot water"

The Godolphin
10/10 Excellent
"Our sweet the Penzer Point had the Best View of Saint Micheal’s Mount! And the deep round window made the view event more spectacular. The restaurant was great as well, the breakfast def worth having on our way out!"

Mount View Hotel B&B
10/10 Excellent
"We had a really enjoyable 2 night stay when we came down to watch some rugby, and were so well looked after by the hosts — all the staff made the place feel very welcoming and homely. I stayed in Room 2 with my two sons and we all felt very comfortable and safe throughout our visit. The beds were great and we slept well both nights.
Breakfast was a real highlight. The full English was excellent — well cooked, huge, and exactly what you want to set you up for the day. The location is also a big plus: less than a five‑minute walk to the coastal path, and for those who don’t fancy the stroll, there are regular buses from just outside straight into Penzance. We chose to walk and took our time, getting into Penzance in around an hour. St Martin's mount is 40 mins the other way.
There is parking available, just make sure you register your car on arrival to avoid a fine. Downstairs, the bar has a lovely, friendly local atmosphere. It was great to see local beer and cider options, including Rattler, and the locals were very welcoming. My kids absolutely loved the pool table and it made the whole place feel relaxed and family‑friendly.
The building itself is a bit tired in places, but this is clearly reflected in the price and it didn’t detract from the warmth of the stay. For value for money it was exceptional.
Overall, a friendly, homely place with fantastic hosts, brilliant breakfasts, and outstanding value. My kids have already said they would book again next year — high praise!"

The Nook
10/10 Excellent
"What a great stay, we had the family room and it was very comfortable
Really clean and would highly recommend. We were a little apprehensive of the communal kitchen but couldn't be more wrong. It had everything in there and was really clean.
Would definitely come back again
5⭐️ all the way"
