"We did pay unexpected fees and the hotel was very disappointed also the hot tub doesn’t work if we just get notice so we can plan a head and booking another place Also the bathroom was dirty is not that was expected plus the shower not have hot water "

"This hotel was extremely noisy. We were there for my daughter's dance competition and had to wake up early the next day. There was a night club across the street playing music loudly until past 2:30am. There were kids running up and down the halls screaming, people smoking marijuana in the rooms, and I could hear my neighbors fighting loudly next door. I went to the front desk and raised these issues with the manager that was there at night and she essentially told me that I made a mistake by booking a hotel that also has a casino when I have kids that have to wake up early. We ended up leaving in the morning and not staying for our second night even though it was pre paid. It is sad because I was excited to stay here. The rooms do look renovated and the other staff we encountered were very friendly except for the one in the evening. I did like the Wolf restaurant. Unfortunately I will never stay here again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"We cam for an event at tahoe blue event center next door. Hotel was conveniently located for that. That how ever was only thing it was convenient to go to. Hotel is far from everything else and even the casino was small. For price id advise harris or cesers. "

"The room was a joke. It felt like literally I am sleeping on the road. You can hear cars every second. There is no air or AC. The floor is squeaking. The fridge didn't work. There is no light other than one next to bed.... It's not cleaned in between of days so trash is overflowing. The toile was clogged for most part of the stay.. The 'breakfast' is just waffle and some bread if you are lucky. And the parking lot was interesting.. at least one person was smoking questionable item always. The room was so full of that smell kid wasn't able to sleep. And they were smoking literally below the window and next to door.."

"Margaritaville (which used to be the old Embassy Suites) was a good place to stay before our daughter’s cheer competition at the event center. The girl at the desk who checked us in was a little short with me when I asked about self parking versus valet. You can either pay $40 to valet with them or drive behind Harrah’s and park overnight there for $20. The room was set up a little like a “motel indoors” as each room had a window. I was concerned there would be excessive noise but it was incredibly quiet on the 8th floor. The room was clean although the tables were a little scratched and looked worn. Amenities were fine: hairdryer, towels, good water pressure for the shower which was appreciated. The indoor pool is small but our child appreciated being able to splash around and liked that they played a movie around 6pm for the kids to enjoy while being in the pool. We had breakfast the next morning and the staff there was EXCELLENT. A little pricey but there was a good selection to choose from. Overall, a very nice place to stay. License to Chill Bar was cute. The other restaurants were either not open or not open while we were awake so we went elsewhere for dinner. Resort fees and the valet parking are really my only 2 complaints. They’re both on the high side in relation to the amenities provided. Would stay here again but might look at other options closer to the event center in the future if the price is better with lower fees and self parking. "
