"Very nice but I’d prefer to stay in the older units at the Welk. These units are on top of each other and it is a bit loud at night. We love the resort though.. great pools and activities. I’ve been staying at the Welk for over 30 years. "

Thanks to the front desk staff I was upgraded to an ocean view room on the 5th floor, which was beautiful. I hope to return again soon to this hotel on my next visit. "

"We appreciate the check-in procedure with one of your great staff named Aronze. She made the check-in procedure convenient. We did not avail ourselves of having our rooms cleaned for the three days we stayed. However, we did ask for additional towels and paper cups which a maintenance person cleaning other rooms graciously gave us. Regarding the safe box in the room - it doesnt work (it kept indicating/flashing CLOSED). I know I could have asked for it to be fixed but we are busy/on a schedule and dont have the time to wait for a repair person. We like the convenient location of the hotel to nearby restaurants, bakeries, and shops. This is why I chose this particular Marriott. Thank you for asking our opinion regarding our Marriott stay. "
