We had a great time at this hotel, will definitely stay here again! Room was clean and comfortable, pool and hot tub were so nice at sunset, and the beachfront location can’t be beat!

Beautiful stay. Kids were playing on the beach and we didn’t have ti bring them in and get them cleaned up for dinner. We ordered right there on the patio and they came in all sandy and happy and we ate dinner right there. It was a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the La Jolla Shores Hotel for the second week of our California vacation after a week at Disneyland. It was a much needed retreat after a busy week in the parks. The building and rooms are clearly aging and the bathroom could definitely use work but we chose this hotel for the beautiful location and easy beach access. Th restaurant was wonderful and we enjoy wonderful views and sunsets.

The location of the property can’t be beat, as the hotel is located directly on the beach. The property itself was just a bit dated and could have used a refresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool area and the outdoor lounge space with fire pits was nice. The furniture around the fire pits was a bit worn and dirty.

Highly recommended stay! The room was a fantastic size and included a fridge, which was perfect for keeping our drinks and water cold. We loved the heated pool and the convenience of walking right out to the ocean, where chairs and umbrellas were already set up for us. The staff was absolutely amazing, and the food at the hotel restaurant was great. It is also within walking distance of several local spots for food and drinks. I will definitely be coming back!
