The carpets could stand a thorough cleaning and we did have a problem with the bathtub draining, but maintenance promptly dealt with that. All the staff were exceptional. "Great location for the Shakespeare festival and shows were excellent. Room on 3rd floor was very small. Restaurant “Lark’s” was good food but slow service (2 1/2 hour dinner). Nice bar but very limited hours. Ashland overall was a wonderful place!"

"The motel was basically clean. However, when I checked in, the lamp in the room did not work. I got good help from the desk to correct it. The breakfast was pretty meager. When I checked out, it wasn't busy, but I was not asked, "How was your stay?" Overall, the motel felt like it needed an update."
