"Clean and quiet room and friendly staff. Easily walkable to downtown Ashland and OSF theaters. Breakfast was passable but not great."

"Driving north from California on a long drive, by myself, I thought I would spend the night resting here and indulge in procuring a room with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. It was Mother's Day weekend, and they were cleaning up from serving a brunch, and the kitchwn was closed to serving dinner at around 5pm. The jacuzzi tub in my room was filthy, with a bathtub ring and pubic hair. The fireplace was not equipped to use. No matches, no lighter. There was a dirty bath towel hanging in the bathroom. I complained to the management, who said that they would reimburse me for the "upgrade" from a regular room to a king room with jacuzzi tub and fireplace. I never received a credit."

"The breakfast is great - fresh fruit and a selection of hot food. The site is very nice, the rooms are quite clean and the staff is helpful. "

"Booked this motel specifically because there was an outdoor pool and the weather was predicted to be super warm. Apparently, May is still winter months. When we arrived the pool was green and still closed. I accept that I did not call in advance but May is closer to Summer than Winter. To make matters worse they apparently were having some type of water or sewer issues and thought that cutting cement and redoing pipes starting at 12:30am and finishing somewhere around 4am is ok. Again, I understand that emergencies happen but there was no communication with those staying. I would have at a minimum appreciated a note taped to the door. I went to the desk the next morning to ask questions and there was no one present that I could find. Overall, just disappointment after disappointment."

"Nice room, good location. Was in separate building from the breakfast room and with road construction it made it complicated but it's not the hotel's fault. Other than that, it was excellent!"
