"This is located 15-18 minute bus ride from the train station. But it's away from busy downtown and have a beautiful view of the lake and mountain that makes the stay very relaxing. (i chose lake view) The AC isn't too strong but there was a fan. The room was clean and the staff were nice. You can enjoy the lake view while having breakfast."

"We had a lovely stay in Lucerne and the staff, breakfast, cleanliness and location of the hotel was terrific. Unfortunately there is a rooftop nightclub at this location that on the last night of our stay (4 nights, on a Saturday) played music at high volume until 3:00 am. We were 3 floors below the top so I can only imagine what it must have been like higher up. For $400 a night, this is completely unacceptable. Consider stopping. This was not happening the 3 nights before. Thump thump thump ka-thump. Thump thump thump ka-thump. Make it stop."

"The front desk staff was very helpful and shared a lot of information. The hotel was very clean and we had a room on the courtyard which was very quiet and great for sleeping. We had to leave early so they provided a take away sandwich and bottle of water. It is very close to the train station which was very convenient for us since we were traveling by train. Wonderful city to visit."

"Excellent service, a beautiful old building and a great location. The room was clean and quiet, even on the lake view side, which is on a busy street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is a 25 minute walk along the beautiful lake path or a short bus ride from the center. Breakfast was fresh and very nice, especially the special poached egg dish. One suggestion I would make is better lighting in the rooms. There is a ceiling chandelier but bright, jarring bare bulb fixtures by each bed. Those need a lampshade or something more directional. There was also no lights near the bathroom mirrors so shaving and makeup, etc. are difficult. Also the bathroom had a window with only a sheer curtain so for privacy you have to pull down the exterior metal shade, which blocks natural light into the room. If the lighting conditions don’t bother you, this is a great place. Would stay again."
