"Everything about our experience was top drawer. We arranged airport transfers with them beforehand, and they helped with dinner reservations as part of the check in. All that was left to do was relax and make use of the wonderful facilities. This is a place that we will 100% come back to."
The Editory Residence Lagos

"Expedia’s website does not mention the reception is actually Editory by the Sea next door. We were greeted by a person called Diva and she was very unfriendly. She refused to issue three room cards, tried to charge us €20 per person for breakfast rather than the correct rate of €15 and did not entertain an upgrade to commemorate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. This last point was a shot in the dark but we didn’t expect a cheeky reply. Luckily her colleague picked up on her attitude and apologised. She also, issued a 3rd card in the morning. Her name is Isa - if you get her then you’ll feel like a premium guest! The breakfast was a varied spread hot and cold. The pool indoors is small but well maintained. Ourdoor pool has a bar! The apartment was spacious. Plush fittings, rain fall shower was powerful and much needed given the 30° temp. AC, micro, oven, fridge, huge dinning room table. TV in bedroom and lounge. 3 balconies!. Three speedy lifts, car park in basement (well lit and clean). I would give 5 stars across the board had it not been for Diva - she just needs retraining. All other staff were polite and caring. Beach board walk 5-7 mins away. Supermarket 3 miles away - loads of places to each in the old town 7 mins in uber. Rooms cleaned every 4 days but fresh towels on request. I would stay there again."

"Walls were THIN, could hear everything from the street at points it sounded like people were talking in our room we could hear their conversation so clearly. The air conditioning was the most confusing air conditioning , never figured it out by the end of the stay would just click buttons until it turned on and stayed on. Otherwise the stay was fine it is located in a great area, very very walkable with restaurants and shops nearby in the heart of Lagos. The views from the rooftop were amazing and front desk was helpful."

"Overall, the apartment was exactly what we wanted. The location is perfect. It was very clean and we enjoyed it very much. The only issue was with check-in after research and receiving a message through Expedia we were told we had to check in at a different location, which we did we had the Uber driver drop us off there however we were given miscommunication and had to check in at the main apartment. It was very frustrating and the person on the desk said that many people are doing the same thing. So I think the message being sent out automatically has to be changed."

"This is a gem of a hotel, with only around 40 rooms. All the staff were so friendly, and the rooms and pool area were first rate. Breakfast was excellent and varied. There was sufficient free onsite parking, and the hotel is close to beaches and Logos old town. We hope to return soon."
