"Comfortable Stay with a Few Unusual Design Choices We enjoyed our stay at Silver Fern Rotorua Suites & Spa. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it a pleasant base for exploring Rotorua. The location was convenient for sightseeing, restaurants, and the area’s geothermal attractions. Our suite was spacious and accommodated our family of three comfortably, although the layout was unconventional. The queen bed was located in the main living area alongside the kitchen, while the king bed occupied a separate bedroom. This arrangement worked for us but required some adjustment. The bathroom was another interesting design choice. It had entrances from both sleeping areas, but neither door locked, limiting privacy. The large spa tub was a nice feature, although it also served as the shower basin. Climbing into a deep, hot-tub-sized enclosure for a shower was somewhat awkward. Interestingly, the shower head itself was excellent! Despite these quirks, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Silver Fern offers a pleasant alternative to larger hotels, and we would recommend it, particularly to travellers who appreciate spacious accommodations and don’t mind a few unconventional design features."

"Great stay in a kitchen and en-suite cabin. Also used the laundry facilities. Only a two night stay and didn’t have time to use the hot pools, but a peaceful stay and I would stay again. On the outskirts of town but still convenient and easy to get to everything."
