My favorite hotel in Indonesia

Excellent support staff always with a smile. Not only they picked us up from the airport, they helped us pack breakfast on our last morning. Can't recommend enough!

This hotel is nothing fancy but the staff are kind, helpful, and friendly. The price is so worth it with free airport shuttle and breakfast. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Furnitures are kind of old but in working conditions. We stayed here to 3 nights and we enjoyed it.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the suites. It was very spacious. If we needed anything, the staff were always very timely and kind. Breakfast was good!

Lovely gardens with nice ponds Really lovely staff that made us felt very welcome instantly. The shouting hello was brilliant! Lovely room and a good view at breakfast. They cater for western and asian breakfast. Again great staff! Spacious room! Our flight was delayed an hour but the free transfer pickup was still ready and waiting as soon as we left depature! Will defintely stay again!

--- 5★ Review – Excellent Value Stay at Centro Bajo Hotel Centro Bajo Hotel may be a budget option and a little older, but for the price it’s unbeatable. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the rate even includes airport pick-up and drop-off, which made arrival and departure stress-free. Breakfast offered several choices, and our twin room was clean and comfortable with cold AC and good beds. Hot water was limited, and the bathroom/shower is combined, but these are minor points given the overall value. The hotel is located just outside of town, which we actually preferred—it’s quieter and away from the noise of the centre. Getting into town is easy and inexpensive: a Grab scooter ride costs only 15,500 rupiah (about $1.30 CAD or $0.93 USD) about a 15 - 20 min walk. For what you pay, I can’t imagine finding better value. Excellent service, convenient transfers, and a peaceful setting. I’d happily stay again.

The Centro Bajo, isnt very central, its a good 20 minutes into town, we didn't mind this but be aware that you have a bit of a walk into town. I really do not understand how this hotel has such good reviews. Its old, very scruffy and needs to be renovated. Our bathroom flooded every time we turned the shower on, the water poured out of the shower cubicle all over the floor making it really dangerous. The sewer smell stayed constantly for the 3 days we were there. The room it self was tired and dated, there were huge cracks on the walls. The staff are the best thing about this place, they are all friendly and helpful!
