"Really poorly run, no WiFi, lacking in facilities, staff were gruff and absent and just a generally very weak property. I'd avoid. Very poor value for money given it is Turkey. "

"We stayed one night at Le Méridien Bodrum Beach Resort, chosen for its amenities and closeness to the airport (just 20 minutes away), and left wishing we had stayed longer. The service was exceptional. Ali Bezir, the Front Office Manager, communicated with us before arrival, preparing everything to our needs. Nacira from Guest Relations was friendly and helpful, while Doğukan and Kubilay made check-in and check-out seamless. Restaurant staff, buggy drivers who ferried us around the hills, and even the playful kittens added warmth to our stay. The Stella Restaurant stood out with an excellent breakfast offering plenty of variety, and dinner was equally enjoyable. Ali kindly arranged for our room to be decorated and surprised our friend with a birthday cake — a beautiful touch that made the evening memorable. Our room was small but offered breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea, visible straight from the bed and even the shower. A modern TV with Google Cast was a great addition, and we enjoyed the beach, the scenic walks, the accessible gym, and a relaxing spa treatment. The only drawback was being told that use of the spa facilities required an extra €38 for 30 minutes, which felt disappointing for a 5-star resort, as I expected basic access to be included. Overall, the staff are the true stars here, making our short visit unforgettable. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for luxury close to the airport."

"Firstly, I want to say this was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I have had in my 30ish years of international travel. The Hotel consists of small cabins spread amongst a beautiful garden, surrounding the main building which houses the restaurant. This is a family operation, with Mithat running the hotel, sons and wives helping in the restaurant. They also are able to guide you on various treks to the numerous archaeological sites ranging from Paleolithic cave paints to Byzantine Monasteries. Situated just uphill from the old agora of Heraklei under the Latmos, you are feet away from incredibly well preserved Roman baths, Hellenistic theater, and some of the best preserved Hellenistic fortifications in the world. The Hotel and Restaurant made the Michelin guide this year, and it's incredibly well deserved. Every meal was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. I regret not having budgeted more time at Lake Bafa. Between this hotel and the numerous archaeological sites in the area I could have stayed for weeks. I highly encourage this hotel for anyone who has a interest in trekking/hiking, and 100% it's a must stay if you or your significant other have a interest in Roman-Byzantine history and archaeology. I honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. Book here, and you won't regret. "
