This was a beautiful place to stay. Because it is attached to a property, it is less expensive than the main house. 20 minute walk to the train, but needed a taxi with luggage because it is up at very big hill. The woman who manages the house, lovely and accommodating. Remember to bring a bottle of wine and a snack to sit out on the deck at night and enjoy.

We have nothing but GLOWING reviews for this property! The property itself was clean, comfortable and accessible. Walking to the central train station to get to Cinque Terre was 18 minutes. We found the area incredibly safe as we walked during the day and at night. We would really like to emphasise the wonderful hospitality, professionalism and kindness from the property managers, Ornella and Violeta. These two remarkable hosts, were excellent at communicating, welcoming and patient with us. We felt a bit lost and out of place as it was our first time navigating in Europe and they sent us directions, bus schedules, walking routes, etc. Cinque Terre is a beautiful place to visit and one day we will visit again, and we will be staying here in La Spezia and in this property! We were able to experience the beauty of Cinque Terre while saving costs on accommodation by staying in La Spezia.

Ihana ja avulias emäntä. Todella siisti ja söötti paikka. Ääneneristys aika huono, mutta onneksi oli rauhalliset naapurit. Upea sijainti rinteellä, josta pääsee patikkapoluille. Rautatieasemalle kävelee alle 30 min. Upea näköala merelle ja vuorille. Aamiainen makeaan painottuva, ei tuoreita vihanneksia, hedelmiä eikä leikkeleitä, mutta hintaansa nähden ok.

Amazing view & friendly atmosphere

The worst part about our stay was that we only spent one night. Everything was perfect. The room was spotless, our hostess was welcoming and friendly, and of course, the view from the balcony was superb. After a tiring few days of traveling we decided to order in dinner and a bottle of wine and dine on the balcony while we enjoyed the breathtaking view of La Spezia with the mountains and sea in the background. It was quite wonderful. It's about 20 minutes on foot the La Spezia Centrale, and if you're walking to the hotel from the station or town center the last 5-7 minutes is a bit strenuous going uphill. So for some people it might be best to get a taxi. Other than that, the place is perfect, especially for couples. 10/10

The Perfect View

I had a great experience in La Spezia and Ca Leon added to the charm!! The pictures are what you get, specifically if you book a room with a balcony. Only thing the room is missing is a full length mirror. Ha! The view is amazing, perfect place to catch the sunrise and sunset!! The staff is extremely helpful and committed to making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I didn't drive but with the help of La Spezia's citizens I was able to locate the bus that drives pass this guest house. 😃 With that said...the hike is doable and worth it but it is truly a hike from the guest house down and back up. I really enjoyed my time at Ca Leon!

Très bonne adresse

Tres bonne réservation, très bonne adresse. Nous avions réservé la chambre avec la vue et c'est tres jolie, très belle vue. La chambre, rien a redire, tout est neuf, manque quelques petites finissions mais en ca devrais surement etre terminée prochainement. L'hôtesse est tres gentille et nous a tezs bien renseignés.

Één dag voor aankomst kregen wij een bericht via WhatsApp met de vraag hoelaat wij aan zouden komen op het trein station van La Spezia Centrale. Dit bericht was bedoeld zodat de eigenaresse van het Bed & Breakfast ons op kon komen halen op station. Dit was een gunst vanuit het hotel. Bij aankomst van het hotel kregen wij een korte uitleg met informatie over de omgeving, erg fijn! De kamer is schoon en opgeruimd bij aankomst en werd elke ochtend door de schoonmaakploeg opgeruimd & schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt was 3,- per persoon per ochtend en was voldoende er had iets meer variatie in gemogen. De enige tip naar het hotel is om aan te geven bij de gasten dat er een streekbus de berg op rijdt, waar het hotel zich bevind. Ons werd namelijk verteld dat het alleen bereikbaar was via de taxi of lopen, maar dat is eigenlijk geen doen in de hitte. Daarbij is een buskaartje 1,50 per 60 minuten. Over het algemeen een hele fijne tijd gehad in een hotelkamer met een ontzettend mooi uitzicht.

BREAFAST! not a good idea to set up the breakfast in the place that it was during our stay, i've been awake every morning by the guest that taking there breakfast very early. there is a full equipped open kitchen a the entrance and it is probably where the breakfast should... just my through

Great place just a bit off the beaten track

Great place. Beautiful harbor views from our balcony. Very friendly host who even picked us up at the train station. The walk to the train and boat stations was a bit long, but there is a bus if you don't want to walk up and down the hill. Away from the noise of the train station area.

Marco was amazing he welcome us to the best room in the House two beutifull balcony one to the ocean one to the hills made this one even family home in to the best seat of the view of Spezia perched in the hills of the port city CA LEON had what you needed to get away from you he city noise breakfasts was waiting outside our room like a room service we helped ourselves to a balcony’s service , it was my husbands bday and they welcome us w a bottle of prosecco . Great view in a beautiful room

We had a great visit att Cà Leon with a lovely host and a location with a great view. The room was super beautiful and we got fresh croissants for breakfast everyday! I highly recommend.
