"So the property that we booked for was closed because it was destroyed due to a hurricane in 2023. We were taken to its sister property not far from this property and the Mayan Palace was really awesome. Rooms were overall great and mostly everything was working. The TV and the tub were the only things I had issues with. Staff was great, easy to get a taxi, there is no uber in the area. The amenities were awesome, like the pool, lazy river and gym. "Right on the beach was great. Plenty of food options in both directions. Extra activities like dives and boating within 15-30 minutes taxi ride. Would go again to stay."
"What I really like about the property is the people that work there. They were really nice and attentive. The cleaning lady was amazing! We would go to the beach and pool and bring all kinds of sand and wet towels back to the room, and she managed to have it spot on clean every day. The pool was great, I think it's a bit outdated, needs some general upgrades, but my 5 yr old son loved it. The breakfast buffet was also really good, specially for the price. There is also a Tarascos Taco place about two blocks away, and that was our dinner spot. The tacos were really good. Love this place and would love to come back soon."
