Very nice owner has a private garage for bikes.but room matras and especially cushion are dated and need to be replaced. We had a simple room whit shower but no toilet. But that whas oke.

The owner is very pleasant, polite and helpful which is is perfect for a hotel which is in such a historically important place. I only visited La Roche-en-ardene to visit the Military Museum which is a short walk from the hotel.

Erg vriendelijke gastheer, goede bedden, schone kamer. Wetende dat de toilet gedeeld werd, echter nooit iets van gemerkt, altijd schoon en fris, erg tevreden.

Op de terugweg

De ontvangst is hartelijk, en het ontbijt is goed. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. De kamers voldoen qua comfort niet meer aan de standaard van hedentendage. Er zijn nog wastafels op de kamer. En de douche is provisorisch geplaatst. Het komt krakkemikkig over. Toilet is op de gang. Toch is alles netjes. En ook de bedden zijn goed. Het is een leuke ervaring om hier te verblijven. En het is een mooie omgeving. Vraag wel om de pincode van de deur om na 21h00 binnen te komen!!!

Het is een oubollig hotel, geen Wifi, restaurant gesloten, toilet in de kamer afgescheiden met een wandje, douchecabine in een hoekje. Eerlijkheidshalve voor de prijs kan je niet veel verwachten, maar slapen in een doorgezakte twijfelaar is niet alles. Ontbijt is goed.

Great little cosy hotel with a warm welcome

Great little old hotel with lots of history. It is in good shape and you get a warm welcome, great service and especially the breakfast is a real treat! I took the most basic room, which means a shared toilet on the same floor. But the room was clean and suited for one or serveral overnight stays. The commonroom below is the place to be for a nice drink/eat and you can spend quite some time looking at all the historical pictures. Had a great stay and I will not hesitate to book again if I go to La Roche again.

Terug in de tijd.

Tapijt op kamer, de douchecabine staat in de kamer... De tijd is hier echt blijven stilstaan. Matras nogal dun, geen dekbed maar een laken met wollen deken, niet meer van deze tijd! Toilet op de gang, wel proper, maar geen ontsmettingmiddel beschikbaar om voor of na gebruik te ontsmetten. Ontbijt basic maar OK voor deze prijs. Eigenaar super vriendelijk. Betalen cash of payconique.

charmant : de lokatie, het aanbod, de persoon.

wij hebben zeer veel respect voor dit hotel, en vooral ook voor de hotel-eigenaar die ons ondanks de bloedhete Corona-tijd (met mondmasker en vele andere strikte maatregelen) een bijzonder aangenaam verblijf heeft bezorgd. Wij raden iedereen een verblijf aan in Hotel de Liège. Het staat bovenaan de lijst van de goedkoopste hotels. Het aanbod verdient een veel betere beloning.

Je trouve qu en Belgique,on nous impose le masque partout mais je déplore que dans les établissements hôteliers les toilettes sont communes sur le palier, il n y a pas de désinfectant ni de protection de dessus de toilettes jetables. Il faut vraiment imposer cet hygiène en période de COVID-19 Je trouve le prix conséquent et les établissements vieillissant Le propriétaire est sympa mais malheureusement ce n est pas suffisant

Betaalbare overnachting

Oud hotel zonder poespas, goed om voor een betaalbare prijs te overnachten op een prima locatie (maar ook niet meer dan dat). De kamer is basic en 'retro', met douchecabine en wastafeltje in de kamer, een niet al te schoon toilet op de gang. Bed redelijk. Het is er gehorig, je kunt de gesprekken volgen.Wifi aanwezig, maar matig tot slecht. Vooraf niet duidelijk dat betaling met pin of creditcard niet mogelijk is, alleen contant of dmv een scan met smartphone waarvoor een applicatie nodig is. Ontbijt is voldoende en inbegrepen.
