"Great location, but terribly uncomfortable beds, i had a twin room. Mattress poor, and pillows were like small cushions filled with rocks. Take your own pillow to avoid cricked neck! Poor quality breakfast. Kettle in room would make all the difference. I have stayed here many times over the years, but I think that will be my last stay. I had 2 nights and just couldn't sleep due to the bed. Sorry Martins, it's all well and good having a great location, and nicely decorated rooms but if you can't sleep, or provide pillows not cushions, people will vote with their feet!"

"This modern hotel is on the edge of the town close to the train station. It’s a decent walk into town but it’s only about 20 minutes. The hotel is modern and efficient and service and staff were excellent"

"Hotel placed near lots of lovely places to eat and see. Staff were very helpful, rooms easily accessable via the lift. The room was clean and well maintained. I felt secure in this hotel and in my room. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, there was something for everyone."

"This was in an exceptional location. If you like the idea of being in an old part of town but prefer to stay in a modern hotel this is a great option. Easy to find, parking on site, helpful and happy staff and comfortable rooms."

"Very nice hotel in quiet area. Room was good size. Haven't tried breakfast so cant comment. Dinner at bistro was an average , would expect more and service was so so. "
