A welcome beer and homemade lemonade in the garden with my terrible French and the hosts very good English Gave us a great suggestion to eat in Nemeur by the lake Lovely breakfast with homemade smoothies and the largest tea selection I've seen. "The grounds are phenomenal. The views from our room were magical as was the entire property. It is an experience as much as a stay. You are surrounded by beauty and history. The pride of ownership and love of their estate shines through. It is like you are given the keys to your own castle! We rode bikes that they provided around the private estate and into the little village for breakfast the next morning. It was one of our favorite stays on our three week long trip. We stayed in more than 10 Hotels and Chateau’s during this trip and it was definitely a chart topper. The bed was super comfy the room large and well equipped gorgeously decorated and immaculately clean. "

"Hotel was a nice surprise. It's not modern, but authentic and with a typical French charm. To say it's a romantic hotel is a little bit too much, but we enjoyed our one night stay while traveling through the country. Restaurant was very good, no need to search around."
