Family friendly hotel with great facilities in a lovely location. Helpful staff and a reasonable price. Some elements are a bit tired but for the price we couldn’t really complain! Would recommend.

Very nice hotel very calm, surrounded by farmland and forests, 10 kilometers from beautiful and charming Fontainebleau. 90 minutes from the center of Paris.

This hotel is very convenient to Fontainebleu. It's a straight shot and only about 10 miles away. It's also a nice little rural location with an adjacent farm with goats. There were horses nearby as well. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming and the rooms were nice and clean.

Nice hotel a few km away from Fontainebleau. Good amenities for kids (pool, billiards, foosball). Helpful to have a car to get around. They have a set of Tesla charging stations.

Shower was not working. And when I brought it up to the reception, there was no reaction at all - No apologies, no action to fix it. It is the bare minimum we expect of a hotel to have a working shower and for some reason it is not working, then to get it fixed.

nice hotel, quiet, relaxing, good location

good location, on route to south of France, good hotel, good service, friendly personnel, good breakfast. easy to check in and out. Would have like the pool view as initially indicated at booking stage. Would have liked to have access to the pool and spa earlier. Overall nice stay, thank you to the staff. We hope the room service colleagues have appreciated Richard and the message in the safe : ) Have a nice day.

It’s a very nice location. Breakfast was super nice and staff was friendly. I was a bit disapointed by the spa and the fitness. There was no more running machine as described in the picture. Ok one could also run in the forest but I did not have much time. As for the room it was nice and big. Still had nighmares though but i dont know if it’s cause Im sensitive or because there was actually something wrong.

A very disappointing visit in a very shabby hotel. Room was at the far end of a very shabby building and through untidy corridors. Water cooler with no cups and coffee machines without coffee or cups. The room was clean but shabby. Flush on toilet hanging off the wall. QR code for hotel information not working. Restaurant has a very limited menu and many flies around it. My husband was ill the day after we stayed here. Can’t believe it has a 4 star rating. Staff were good.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer reserviert und eines davon wurde ohne uns zu informieren storniert. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmer sowie die Einrichtung waren schlecht. Haare in der Badewanne, dreckige Ablüftung im Bad. Im Hausflur lag ein Tablett mit benutztem dreckigen Geschirr. Und es lag ein Q-Tip im Flur.

un mid-week agréable

L'hôtel est globalement en très bon états mais de nombreux petits détails, en particulier dans les chambres laissent à désirer : les finitions et retouches de peintures sont très approximatives, le coffre ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivée et nous avons dû changer de chambre au milieu de la première nuit à cause d'une coupure de courant, certainement à cause de la bouilloir en défaut. Le personnel a néanmoins fait tout son possible pour palier au mieux ces problèmes. Le Novotel café offre une cuisine originale et délicieuse servie très aimablement. La piscine et le sauna sont très agréables, même si de nombreux enfants rendent ladite piscine sans doute moins calme en cette saison estivale.

Chambre pas prête avant 19h sans être prévenue. Puis on m’a donné une chambre mal nettoyée (draps sales, mouchoir sur le sol etc). Serrures qui ne fonctionnait pas. J’ai du attendre par 2 fois 30 mn pour entrer dans ma chambre. Tv qui dysfonctionnelle, j’ai du faire appel 2 fois à la réception pour qu’on la repart. L’électricité de la chambre a dysfonctionnelle. Suite à une erreur de la réception on m’a fait payer 2 fois le séjour, j’ai été remboursée du trop payé après m’être plainte. J’ai également payé 2 fois les taxes de séjour. Je m’en suis aperçue après selon départ j’ai dû retourner sur place pour me faire rembourser du trop payé. Malgré tout ces désagréments, aucun geste de la par de l’hôtel même pas un verre d’eau en attendant ma chambre.
