"What an absolutely beautiful stay, in a stunning place. Our host was attentive and kind, and the food was wonderful. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, and particularly for my needs on a road trip with my 18 year old son, the accommodation offering two adjoining bedrooms was perfect, and we could park outside. Also very good value in my opinion. I would definitely return, it’s also ideal for couples and I would love to bring my wife here. "

"A beautiful oasis in the vineyards - we very much enjoyed our stay at Dievole. The room was stunning and quiet (we booked a room a Deluxe Double which was located in a building in the lower gardens, near the pool and outdoor restaurant). If you want a room in the Villa, perhaps give them a call as it's not clear where all the rooms are and some re located up the hill and further out of the way. The welcome was warm and friendly, we were showed around the property and our bags taken to the room at lightening speed. The pool area is blissful with a constant service to keep you hydrated :) - we didn't leave the resort during our short stay as it was so relaxing. Food is very good quality - breakfast offers a wide range, dinner offers a range of locally produced food (don't ask for anything that comes from a neighbouring region as the response will be mildly insulting!). We stayed and had dinner 2 nights - any more than 3 or 4 and I feel the dinner menu would be too limited. Lunch options are pretty good though and we ate a sizeable parma ham sandwich by the pool. Staff are generally good - we struck up some great conversations with the servers who were fun and friendly. One staff member (we assumed the restaurant manager in a jacket - which, incidentally he sweats through every 10 minutes), is less friendly and rather abrupt. All a little insincere for our liking. He is also frantic and disorganised which puts the team on edge - its rather obvious."

"Our family of five enjoyed our time at the property very much. The rooms were comfortable and the surrounding area is beautiful. The pool is a huge plus to cool down and have a relaxing time. The Rignano train station nearby makes it easy to get around Italy, by connecting to Florence’s main station. Truly an asset. The A1 highway is also nearby connecting you within easy access to beautiful Tuscany. Restaurants in the area were very good also. I would definitely stay again at Vila Il Palagio."

"The most prominent feature of this hotel is the terrace, what a fabulous view! The staff were very helpful and friendly, showing the Gym which is slightly hidden away behind the bar and the large relaxing public lounge. There is a wide offer for breakfast in a large room which I think is underused. It would for instance be a great place for a reception or other formal gathering."

"The view from the dining area was perfect. The included breakfast was amazing and the complimentary ebike rentals were perfect to get around outside of the hotel to catch more amazing views! The food at dinner was perfect. The only thing that was lacking was the bathroom showers. Ours was leaking. Other than that it was a perfect stay."

"I was fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful hotel whilst photographing a wedding in Tuscany and I was so pleased that I am hoping to stay again as soon as I can. The staff were lovely, the hotel was beautiful and the surrounding areas were stunning. The spa was clean and calming, with three different rooms to try and a jacuzzi. I was offered a free yoga class one morning and my room was cleaned before 10am every day. On my last day, I checked out at 11am after breakfast and was offered a place to keep my bags so that I could stay out by the pooI until I needed to leave. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone travelling through Tuscany!"
