"A fantastic unmanned property with ample of parking. Whilst unmanned, they responded to our question promptly. The whole family room with 4 x beddings were spacious for our family of 5 (primary school age children to baby) to move around and to sleep. The projection with games was a hit with the older kids & the baby loved having her own space on the couch. And the bathroom was amazing. So glad we picked this place for our 1st leg of the Kyushu trip. "

"It was my first time checking into a hotel without staff on site. The hotel will send you an email with an entry code to get into the lobby. Once inside, there's a tablet you use to check in. After you snap a photo of your passport, you get connected to the hotel staff via video call to verify your identity. Then you will get your room code on the screen. Take a picture of your room code with your phone. The hotel is very roomy and very close to the station. "

"Amazing, regardless of price one of the best places I've stayed in Japan. 15 mins walk from Saga station in a quiet residential area and only 10 mins walk to multiple restaurants, Saga castle, balloon museum, library etc Hotel is the wrong word for this place,it is a stand alone home, perfect for a couple but extra space and futons for kids or another couple in comfort. "We love the decor. I was blessed to run into an older woman who showed me some of the phongraphs and music boxes in the lobby. They have an old Toyota car out front that is beautiful. The coffee area was a nice place to take a break and read. We stayed in the traditional room which had tatami mats and futons. The air conditioning worked great fighting the Kyushu humid summer. The only drawback was the water pressure. Overall it was low and I think they rely on the hot spring for water so it takes a while for the water to warm."

"Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The spacious bathroom was a wonderful surprise, and the ReFa hair dryer made the experience feel even more luxurious. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Karatsu, I highly recommend staying here, exploring the town, and enjoying the fresh local seafood. We would definitely love to stay here again."

"The hotel room was a really good size, had a lot of room to place our luggage out. I loved how close it was to the train station, very walkable and convenient location! Only gripe was the AC does not work very well, it wasn't hot but defiantly wasn't cold at the max setting. There was a sign up explaining that there wasn't a designated AC per room, but rather for the whole hotel, so custom settings wouldn't work well. If you are okay with a warmer room, like during summer, I think it is perfect! But for me personally it was hard to sleep at night."

"Clean and spacious room. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Parking was free and good enough. Need to contact staff when the main parking lot was full though. Buffer dinner and breakfast were excellent. But during golden week, there were a lot of guests and a bit crowded. The attractions were excellent but sparse and so the area was better to visit with your own car. During golden week, dinner and breakfast were not optional and that costed more than other period."
