Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
Everything went really well. The kiosk that they want you to check in at, you have to pay a tax and it didn’t take my debit card for some reason. You needed a card with a PIN. We tried 3 different people on our party, and none of our cards worked. So we were scrambling trying to find the tax money ...

Cross Hotel Kyoto
The location is excellent, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, subway, bus, etc. The room os spacious for a 3-star hotel, with the toilet in a closet-size space separated from the bathroom, which is very nice for two people in the morning wanting to use the bathroom.
