Right beside the train, Starbucks and family mart. Location is very convenient but not a lot around but a quick train ride leads you right downtown. Loved this hotel! Would stay every time if visiting Kyoto again.

This hotel is right outside the train station, takes only 2 minutes to get there! Taking buses is also a convenient option. There’s a convenient store and a Starbucks right around the corner, and it’s located right beside a park. The room is clean and spacious, and got Onsen! But the Onsen didn’t provide body lotion and water, so better remember to bring those if you think you’re going to use the Onsen.

Property was clean, well maintained and had all the local basic amenities. It is located very close to the metro station, that is one stop away from Kyoto main station. Had Starbucks just behind the hotel and few restaurants, that were walkable from the hotel. The courtyard behind the hotel was very pleasant in the evenings to sit and relax and enjoyed watching families walk by and children playing. Will highly recommend the hotel to tourists visiting Kyoto, we had a very pleasant stay here.

Incredible stay - staff was very helpful and accommodating. - Great location - rooms and views were beautiful...cant say enough about this place Would stay here again and again. Compared to our last stay @ The Mark Grand Hotel (which was terrible)this was a godsend and saved our vacation...Just wished we booked more days @ The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto, instead of The Mark Grand

The reception and all other staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were also very spacious and comfortable. The proximity to transportation and parks, and the fact that it was in a peaceful environment away from the noise, was a plus. I'm thinking of staying here again on my next visit to Kyoto 💕

Good location right off train stop and lots of kids fun within 2 minute walk. Off the beaten path a bit from all the crazy Kyoto tourist spots and the much busier main train station. Train museum my 5 year old loved!

Great location for day trips. Having a FamilyMart in the building was extremely convenient too. Good self-service laundry facilities and access to a microwave too. My only feedback would be to offer an eco-clean option for the rooms. We just wanted the bin emptied and to get the free bottles of water, but to get we had to ask for the full room clean. New towels, pyjamas, toilet roll, etc, which wasn’t necessary.

Nice clean hotel in a good location. We needed a triple room and this was one of the few hotels that offered three separate beds. The beds were comfortable, everything was super clean, and there were lots of toiletries
