Nice to have room to spread out and not just stare at the walls. Though there was a TV, we didn’t watch it Very well located. Cute cafe - Sagan nearby for breakfast, lunch dinner or a snack. Grocery store a couple of blocks away. Short walk to Gion sites. Kitchenette, half bath upstairs, full bath with huge tub downstairs. Very quiet. We really relaxed

This was our first visit to Kyoto. Actually it was our first visit to Japan. The location was fantastic, the house was adorable, and very authentic Japanese, so convenient to have the washer dryer, AC was a godsend in September, everything was so clean and I loved the contemporary style. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese, I would stay here. Also, the bathroom with onset style tub is incredible. Would definitely stay here again.
