"Check-in was contactless, via a tablet, and quite smooth. Room lock is via a passcode so no need to worry about number of room cards. Apartment is quite roomy for our family of three, with a bedroom (with one double and one single bed), plus a larger living room (also with one double bed and one single bed). Even included a 3 person sofa and a small side table. Overall a very nice stay. Highly recommended for family of 3-4 persons. Can accommodate 6 but probably a squeeze."

"The room was poorly set up. Lots of dead space above the ground that could have been for storage but wasn't used. Bathroom was dated and creaky whenever you walked in. There was an iPad that took up space where luggage could have been. Bins took up so much space next to the TV. Bed was uncomfy. And the images were deceiving of the size of the room. Not going to that hotel again. "

"Everything was wonderful. Really loved the outdoor bath. Room is on the smaller side for an American, but has everything you need. The upstairs drink area has coffee, tea, and soda with a wonderful view. The staff were kind and I also loved the kiosks for easy check in and out. This place was also near a very good yakiniku restaurant."

"Hotel is 1.1 km walk from Hakata station. A bit of a walk with luggage or with children. The street in front is not busy, and there's plenty of space to park temporarily, half way onto the front of the property to unload/load. We stayed in room 102, in the DX Triple Room. In the only first floor room, I heard people coming out of the elevator, people checking in/out occasionally, but never heard any noise from above, though I'm unsure if there were any guests on the second floor. Hardly heard train or car traffic from inside the room. Having a washer was nice, but wished it was a washer/dryer combo. We hung dried clothes in the shower room with the dehydrator, and also on the clothesline in the bedroom with AC on. There weren't enough hangers to hang clothes. Request fresh towels (via email before 2200 hours for next day delivery) to avoid having to wash your clothes AND towels. Beds were not hard or soft, just right. There weren't enough outlets around the beds. AC worked well in relatively warm days in November. Fridge was medium size and appropriate. CAT5 was available. I didn't use the WiFi. Closest 24/7 convenience store is 60 m walk away, 8a-9p grocery store is 300 m walk away, with numerous mostly small restaurants with limited hours in the vicinity. Closest bus stops are 200 m walk away. Hotel provides no parking, but there are hourly paid parking nearby. The electric door lock code contained the room number. That's a little concerning. "

"The Hotel is unattended, anyhow the hotel manager is always available for any help using the Check-in/out terminal at the entrance. The room was great, comfortable, the facilities, especially those in the kitchen, are excellent and the hygiene and cleanliness are perfect. I strongly suggest this hotel for a good stay."

"Air conditioning worked in winter (late November) which was amazing. Was overheating and having trouble sleeping at some other hotels which were heat only but not hotel Zonk. Great sleep! "

"The hotel is relatively new so everything was still well maintained. The staff were helpful and the check in and check out process was fuss free. Good sized room and the location was great. "

"The property had both free and paid parking which was a bit odd. As we had larger vehicles we felt it safer to park in the paid parking lot rather than on the spots directly off the street which we may have stuck out of a little ($5 a night). Simple rooms with decent beds and all the necessities (small desk, bed side table, etc. Bathroom was clean and had all necessary amenities. The only complaint was the doors are a little thin meaning it was a bit noisy if other guests were loud in the hallways. "
