The room AC worked great and everything about this location was really nice.
The only thing i had issues with were the beds, really springy and uncomfortable and the pillows felt like they were filled with beads instead of cotton or something soft/comfortable.
Would still recommend to someone looking for something nice but within a budget.
Small, but comfortable room. Clean. Barely any parking available - will likely need to go to a paid lot (about 600 yen per night). Great price at only $44 when I booked. Walkable area.
An amazing experience! This is my second time staying here and I will continue to stay here for all my future Kurume trips. The front desk staff is always accomodating and polite and the meal staff is incredibly endearing.
The Celecton is a wonderful hotel. The onsen was very nice. It was my first time going to an onsen, and this one was small and relaxing. The facilities were excellent and clean. Most of the times that I went to the onsen it was empty, so I had the bath to myself. It was very pleasant.
As my first stay in Japan, the Celecton Kurume was a very pleasant hotel during my time there. The staff was instantly accommodating when my flight was delayed and I ended up arriving an hour after check-in was accepted, but the staff graciously waited for me to arrive so I wouldn't be deserted. After that, all the rest of the staff have been very welcoming to me, even though I'm not too fluent in Japanese, and they provided excellent breakfast choices every morning. I stayed for a week and the atmosphere remained feeling clean and safe. I want to say thank you to everyone working there! I hope I can come back again someday :)
I stayed here for 2 weeks and they were extremely accommodating! The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options and they have a comfortable onsen that's available for use every morning and night. What's good too is that there's a lock keypad for the women's bath, so we don't have to worry about anyone intruding.
The rooms are snug and comfy, but not too compact. Unfortunately there's no refrigerator, so if you're keeping any snacks or food, make sure it's something non-perishable. Overall, the location was convient, wedged in-between two delicious yakiniku places and just a 20 minute walk from the station.
