"We stayed 3 nights in Ki Niseko Hotel in a mini one bedroom apartment with a view of Mount Yotei this summer. The hotel was in a great location, walkable to restaurants in town and opposite our favourite town coffee shop in Rhythms where they made great coffee, fresh smoothies and veggie sausage rolls! We enjoyed the hotel and the space and amenities in the room, but found the town during the early summer months too quiet, with minimal restaurants, shops, bars and cafes open which was such a shame as the countryside around was beautiful. Ski lifts weren’t open yet so we couldn’t use them to walk in the hills and mountains surrounding the resort. We noticed the summer season starts July 19th so I imagine after then more would be open. The area is positioned well for hiking and exploring, you will definitely need a car. The hotel has a nice onsite restaurant which we ate in once and enjoyed the food (minimal vegetarian options however). Breakfast was ok, a little limited in Western options. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good hotel and would recommend if staying in the area for a short break. "

"This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The location was convenient to drive to Toyaka Onsen town for food, but also to Rusutsu for skiing. "
