"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. We arrived late at night, due to flight delays and were greeted with two friendly staff members who had everything ready for us. They helped to book cheap transportation, get change for us to pay for transport and the breakfast was great. The location is alright, it's quite the walk to the beach though so a quick transportation seems to be the way to go. Overall we loved the stay there."
