Imperial Suites has very spacious apartments with full kitchen. Attached to a mall with a well stocked grocery store. The Suites are located 10 minutes by Grab from the airport and 20 minutes from the Orangutan Sanctuary. But it’s 25-30 minutes from Kutchin center, there is no nearby public transportation and tour companies will not pick you up there.

Nice unit & nice view at 18 floor

Nice apartment with nice view of Kuching. Clean room & toilet. But one of the exhaust fan at toilet is too noisy to switch on so my children don’t want to use that toilet. In general, is a nice stay. Tq

The owner provided 1/2hrs early check in and usage of laundry without any charge. Check in and check out process also can be done seamlessly. I will stay there again.

The apartment really was top notch, very comfortable and incredibly well equipped. I was greeted outside hours by Lung who very quickly and efficiently got me checked in and settled in to the apartment. The properties share gym and pool facilities with the adjoining hotel and are very good and there is also an attached mall which has good shopping although I prefer the supermarket just across the main road. The Hoff, again just across the street, is a great place to get a drink and unwind a bit. It also has the added benefit of staying open quite late. Hope you enjoy the stay as much as I did.

A Home to stay for family

The stay was magnificent and feel like at home. Easy to go shopping because it's just down stair and within one roof. Very safe place to stay and pleasant.

Imperial Suites (attached to the Imperial Hotel) is a short Grab ride from the airport, but 25-40 minutes drive from the center of Kuching. There is no near public transportation. The reason for my OK rating is management’s policy of only accepting cash payment for room (so opt to pay in advance) and charging MYR 200 cash deposit, Since there is no full time reception and stadf don’t arrive till after 9 a.m. you can’t get your deposit back in cash if you check out for a morning flight. The receptionist tried to be helpful and promised to wire us the deposit refund but arranging this is a pain snd we are still waiting.

When I check in, staff needs to go up the room to get the access card for me. Look unprofessional. The WiFi service down and cannot use nearby WiFi router.in addition, staff provided wrong password. At the end inform me service down and wait for outsourcing technician to fix it on next day! Even apology from staff but unfair for consumer to paid this amount with this poor service which unmatched with the facilities provided! The bath room inside doesn’t even has place or to put my bath towel or clothes

Our room was not available for unclear reasons upon arrival. Sketchy and passive aggressive management. A cash damage deposit was required at check in without prior notice. A paper receipt omitted the deposit amount. A 48 hour wait for confirmation of a change was responded to only after Expedia intervention. Caveat emptor!

Room was filthy, full of lice / bed bugs too. And to top it off they tried to get out of refunding the deposit since I was leaving early the next morning. Only because I strongly insisted next thing they returned it. Be very careful! I certainly don’t recommend it.

The ambience , cleanliness, bedding comfort, pillow, hot & cold shower , tap are running in good condition, facilities excellent, near to places of eating outside , walking distance to the premises. Night view of its surrounding is beautiful as we stayed on the 19th floor of the 20th floir building.

Apartment review

Place was perfect for families. Hosts were excellent and responded quickly to all our requests. Location is close to the airport and orangutans sanctuary but about 20 minutes from riverside.
