This boutique hotel is located in the heart of Penang’s Little India district of historic Georgetown. An easy 10 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal and minutes from the Light Street bus stops, this inn is a great base for those who want to explore Georgetown and Penang via walking and public transport. The property is tastefully converted old Chinese medicine shop with rooms above the ground floor bistro and coffee shop, where breakfast is served. The breakfast dishes are prepared by the lovely proprietors and consist of fresh fruit, continental pastries and a variety of Chinese and Malaysian treats like dumplings, roti etc. While the hotel may lack some of the amenities of the traditional 5 star luxury places (no pool or spa), it’s location and pricing make it a great base for budget conscious travellers who want to experience Georgetown and surrounds.

町の中心なので超便利ですが、すぐそばで路上ライブをやっていたり、たまたま春節だったので爆竹が沢山あったり、人が凄くて歩けなかったりだったので、行く時期を考えればよいのかもしれません　うるさくても大丈夫な方向けです

Hôtel très bien situé. .. mais prestation très bas de gamme : aucun rangement, chambre sale (cafards) et petit-déjeuner nul: une seule petite assiette de riz avec 1 tranche de concombre, 1 seule tasse de thé (la 2ème est payante ...) Je recommande ce quartier ... mais pas cet hotel

We Loved It!

My Fiance and I had a great experience at Tai Ichi. Staff was friendly, The breakfast was fair, the bed was comfortable, great bathroom; however, the room was a little on the small side. Overall experience was great and I would highly recommend the Tai Ichi to others.

Hotel location is perfect because it takes us only 3 minitues to walk to Jalan Alor night market, Pavillion, mrt.... This street is really bustling and has a lot of entertainmant as well as shopping place. We have 4 people and room space is quite good for us. Room is quiet and we never is disturbed by the outside noisy. Overall, everything is good Staff should learn how to communication to customer. They are never friendly and hospitality. In my opinion, if Tai Ichi hotel can improve staff attitude, this hotel will be perfect voting
