"Good stay in general. Quiet, not a lot of guest which was good but weird at the same time. Rooms were clean and functional but probably need some updates. Few things I feel the manager should take note: There was no Wi-Fi despite advertised which should be changed plus the outdoor bbq was broken. The reception was not manned but in general you can call to ask for things without issues. The
pool was quite good though. Like the fact that we could check in slightly early after calling"

"RSL is across the road, and the meaks were great.
Found a cafe in the morning less than 5 min walk.
Place was clean, and the aircon was positioned well for the hot weather we experienced.
We liked to walk and the walk ways took us to the sea side in about 2km. We didn't have time to use the good sized swimming
pool, but it was inviting. The place is older than some, but is clean and not run down. It is a comfy stay for a good price and it is convenient to shopping centres and eateries.

"The deluxe villa we stayed in was very run down & quite old. The lamp shade & cushions on the couch were mouldy. It definitely needs an upgrade.
It would be okay for 1 night for business if you didn’t care about aesthetics.
The kids bedroom was separated from the villa by a deck, which would be great for teens but our 8 year old son was too scared to sleep in there on his own.
The
pool was heated though which was great for the kids.
I stayed here years ago & it was great but I’m guessing due...

"A friend and I spent a couple of days at Tangalooma Island Resort recently. Tangalooma is on Moreton Island which is off the coast of Brisbane. The Tangalooma Island Ferry is the normal means of transport to and from the island, about a 75 minute ride and it runs multiple times each day. The resort has many accommodation choices, many venues for food and drinks, and many options across a wide range of activities. In our case it was just unwinding for a couple of days, doing nothing much at all, and Tangalooma provided exactly what we were after. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful, and we'd like to say a special thank you to Dante from B&B's Bar, for his excellent service and always with a welcoming smile."
