"It was located in an easy to find area. Room was nice enough and needed to be finished on the projects started. Staff was scarce and always in a back room. Coffee should be 24/7. Please clean/ vacuum your stairs and clean up the doggie dodo area."
"The place itself is amazing, but unfortunately the service really let us down. There wasn’t much friendliness or hospitality, and a big part of the staff came off as rude. What we expected to be a relaxing experience turned out to be the complete opposite.
When we arrived, the rules weren’t explained clearly. The girl at reception mentioned that we couldn’t bring drinks into the tent and that we had to consume them in the restaurant area. Later, when we tried to have our drinks at the restaurant, the manager rudely told us the opposite—that we should be drinking them in the tent. It was confusing and honestly stressful, since every staff member told us something different.
It’s a shame because we chose this place to celebrate my friend’s birthday and have a great time, but we didn’t really get to enjoy it :(
Honestly, when you book a stay, hospitality and service mean everything"
"I stayed at this hotel in Cedar City while attending my graduation at SUU. I mainly chose it because of its close proximity to the university, which made it very convenient for the occasion.
Overall, the hotel was decent and clean. It’s not typically the kind of place I usually stay in, but for what I needed, a place to sleep, it did the job. The biggest downside was the staff, who came across as cold and not very welcoming. A simple smile or friendly greeting would have made a big difference in creating a warmer atmosphere.
There was also some noise during the stay. The couple in the room next to us seemed to be arguing loudly late at night, which was a bit uncomfortable and disruptive.
Aside from that, the hotel served its purpose. It’s a convenient option if you’re visiting the university, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of hospitality and guest experience."
"The check in was a nightmare noone was at the desk when we arrived. They should have two desk people to help each other. We had a special request of the ground floor. She gave us key cards to 101. We went and tried the lock only to find out the door handle was broken. We headed back to the desk. While we were gone more people were standing in line. She hurried to find another room on the first floor.
No luck so we took the elevator up to our second room. We opened the door and burnt popcorn smell almost knocked us down. We opened the window and tried to turn on the air conditioner.
That to failed . "
