"It might look fancy and pool has been Bangkok there a diamond dozen there’s 100 of them unless you’re Chinese owned or your influence and have an American Express gold card. They don’t want you if you’re American. They don’t want you if you’re American. I got bad vibes after I paid over ฿6000 to stay there I didn’t want me on the property. "The deluxe hilltop room view was amazing, and far enough from beach noise to sleep peacefully. The staff was very helpful, The restaurant food was wonderful and some of the best available. The dive shop and diving staff made staying at Bans the best trip to Koh Tao ever."

"Stayed at the villa, very big and clean, nice pool. It has air conditioning only in the sleeping rooms which is a minus . Staff are very helpful, breakfast was good. You can access the beach via stairs but this is good for snorkeling only. The hotel is far so if you need a taxi it is 500 bath per direction, or you can rent motorcycles but keep in mind the road is very steep . "

"Superb villa with a great layput, spacious and well appointed with 3 overhead fans (bedroom, living area and outside seating areas). Staff very helpful, even let us in 2hrs ahead of check in time. Great decks below villas for snorkeling- swam with 2 Black Tip Reef Sharks whilst down... 1 adult about 5ft and one ypungster about 3 ft... amazing"

"This place rocked. Super helpful and friendly staff. Nice, clean, and comfortable room. The pools are beautiful. All of the food and drinks we had there were excellent and very reasonably priced. All around great. Would definitely stay here again if we went back to Koh Tao"
