Quiet area in Chaweng. Fits for couples and family. Staffs are nice and helpful. The room had a really nice view.

this property is really nice, it has a nice breakfast selection and a great pool. the only thing that i didn’t like was people leaving their pool towels on the sunlounges first thing in the morning to secure a sun lounge. some people would leave the towels on there all day and never return until 5pm which meant other people missed out. i think a rule needs to be put in place so you can’t put your towel out and go do something for the rest of the day, it isn’t fair to other tourists wanting to use the pool. 3 people next to me put their towels out and never came back at all. but other than that, the resort is in a good location and there’s plenty of nice restaurants around.

Very cheap price with very good environment Best breakfast buffet ever, delicious food, lots of choices Walking to the most busy area just 20 mins but for sure you can have everything just 1 min from your hotel If you dont expect luxury hotel, this is the best choice

Great stay at Baan Talay

We had a terrific week at Baan Talay. Right on a fine strip of beach on the quieter end of Chaweng this small hotel was perfect for us to relax and unwind. Our family room was attractive and well designed with lots of storage space. Breakfast was a good mixed selection of Thai and non Thai food. Staff, especially Plam and Chai were very attentive and May the manager was very approachable and dealt promptly with our queries and requests. The hotel is within easy walking of shops, travel agents and restaurants whilst being away from the main hustle and bustle. We had a brilliant stay and would do it again!

Nydelig utsikt mot havet både om dagen og kvelden, og spesielt under de tropiske stormene. Hytten lå slik at det ikke var innsyn og var utstyrt med alle elementære artikler en kunne trenge inne, på balkongen og på stranden.

Baan Talay is a very good resort. Rooms are clean and spacious pool is great and everything is only steps from a great beach. The Hive beach bar where breakfast is served could use a bit of a renovation as was looking a bit old and worn. Although very friendly, some of the staff at reception didn’t understand English making it difficult with requests. The free wifi connection was not reliable.

Upgrade!

We booked a standard room and on check-in they upgraded us to a deluxe room with a better garden view! The staff were all very friendly and the property was amazing with a great view!

Hotel in good location great pool quiter part of town but still near most things .but for what you pay rooms very tired doors don’t fit properly needs upgrading aircons need to be serviced or replaced had to move from first room as aircon was fault and even the next room aircon had probs ie the thermostat didn’t seem to work staff were great.but overall would stay again if they sorted the minor problems out thanks to all the great staff at Baan Talay

The breakfast was lovely and hotel is right on the beach which was very clean. Staff are friendly and very happy to help. The area is very quiet and whilst this is very relaxing if you are looking for evening entertainment there is very little going on. Rooms are well equiped and clean but the hotel could do with a lick of paint

Good place for its price

Really nice place, beautiful hotel. The pool is awsome. The restaurant (The hive) is placed directly on the beach providing a facinating view. The breakfast is good. The bad point was that we received a room that is far fron the beach so we had noise come from the street (Advertising cars..)

Отличные бунгало на первой линии моря

Отель бунгального типа на первой линии лучшего на Самуи пляжа Чавенг. Большие светлые бунгало с видом на бассейн . До моря 10 метров. Завтраки средние. Бассейн небоьшой и неглубокий. Отель расположен в южной спокойной части пляжа Чавенг, в пешей доступности от пляжа Чавенг Ной. Впечатления самые лучшие, рекомендую для отдыха.
