"This is great value for money with easy access to all the local sights. We spent two days here and from the wonderful welcome until we left they were attentive and friendly. There is a fantastic pool which is needed after day trips out and about. "

"Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. "Kalundewa retreat is a beautiful boutique hotel experience in a serene and relaxed setting. The rooms are large and spacious and the food is excellent. The staff went out of their way to attend to our every need. The service we received was exceptional. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel."

"The panamamic views surrounding the house are absolutely gorgeous! My wife and I have stayed at places all over the world (36 countries and counting) and this house ranks in our top 5. The room is huge (with a large, modern bathroom), and the house has a stocked game room with pool, ping pong, foosball, and more plus a giant chessboard outside. "The resort is beautiful, the surrounding lake makes the perfect spot for a morning stroll. The staff was very attentive, the room spacious. We had both a la carts and buffet menu, both were delicious. Convenient location to visit the Lion Rock. "

"We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."

"A beautiful Resort, wished we stayed longer to enjoy more of it. The only downside for us was the bar. If you’re offering cocktails, you need staff that know what they are doing. The staff behind the bar had no idea."
