"Avoid this place. Check-in was difficult in the dingy reception, which looked like a dump, as the elderly lady had no idea I was coming. Finally she understood, but asked if I had already paid, which I had.Room was up 4 flights of stairs. "I had the room at the front of the building. The room was spacious, with two huge windows, so plenty of light. The view is good at eye level and above. It was well decorated and pleasant. On the down side, it overlooks the main road so is rather noisy. During the day, it's a continuous drone, so it fades into the background. At night, earplugs! These are kindly provided. Be aware, the other rooms face onto a wall."

"We arrived at Odin on 21 Dec. The lobby looks renovated but had TVs, tools, debris and construction materials all over the place. As we got off the lift, the hallway had construction materials strewn all over the floor with broken frame beds, broken nightstands and broken A/Cs. The first room, the safe was broken, it didn’t have a shower head, the door to the balcony would not lock, & there were clearly missing pieces of furniture in the room. We asked for another room and had the same issues...

"I had a fantastic stay at TJ Patong Hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and plenty of restaurants and shops, yet the hotel is tucked away enough to feel quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed — good air-conditioning, a comfy bed, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the stay even more enjoyable."

"The room was spacious, there was a single and a queen size bed ( the big bed had a bit of a dip in it where most people would recline to watch tv (me too), so for sleeping I moved to the middle of the bed - that was my only quibble sitting the week I was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the woman who made up my room (even though I'm not a tipper I did this time). Charm Resort is a great location- over the road from the beach and a short walk to shops and eating places. If you need a bike (scooter) to get around the island on you could try MrJack who is such a nice bloke and his missus makes a great coffee contact them on +66890443035"
