Beautiful resort in a quiet area

GrandBlue is in a very quiet area and not a lot is happening but there are many great seafood restaurants on the beach side. The resort was super nice and the rooms were amazing. However, the restaurant was very bad and the morning buffet was as basic as it gets.

Okay for a night if passing through.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was very disappointing...pretty much the same thing every day, not much choice, the hot food was lukewarm at best and cold on some days, bread and pastries were stale, butter was runny.

Property was great but Expedia placed it on the same page as Ko Sumet so I booked it. Turns out it’s about 30 Kilometers from KoSumet. It’s not on the island. I don’t know why Expedia placed it on the KoSumet page which threw me off big time. Not a good thing to show up to the pier and then have to take a cab to the hotel.

Rummet var kanonbra. Rent och fint. Poolen också bra. Frukosten helt ok. Finns flera restauranger, små butiker, massage alldeles bredvid. Trevligt hotell, fin pool och väldigt nära stranden och 7/11. Tre restauranger på gångavstånd. Nära till några caféer och massagesalonger. Ett par ställen som hyr ut mopeder/motorcyklar. På minussidan. Alldeles för få solstolar, hotellet delar pool med närliggande lägenhetshus. Så är man inte upp vid gryningen och lägger ut handduk som en liten råtta blir man utan. Saknar solstolar på stranden. Hotellet ligger en bit bort ifrån ”byn” så vill man inte studsa runt på de ställen som ligger bredvid behöver man hyra moped/motorcykel eller förbereda sig på att gå en hel del.
