"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and positive. Thank you for the refrigerator. A microwave would have been much appreciated."

"I booked the room for the entire weekend. I checked in around 8pm and left at 4am that morning. I woke up to the ceiling leaking onto the bed. I called the front desk and then went down to only be told they were sold out and had nowhere to put me. I drove home and they have not responded about a refund for the other night that was booked. I have stayed here off and on for 15 months while I’ve been in town for work. I will never stay here again."

"Listen is this the nicest hotel in Cleveland? No. Is it the worst? Also no. Bed was ridiculously comfortable, front desk was helpful. Things are worn but for the price what do you expect. It’s up on a lil hill with a gas station and a winking lizard bar and grill walking distance away. I will stay here again"

"The location was good, close to numerous restaurants. The property is best described as spartan. There is lots of deferred maintenance issues inside and out. A number of basic comfort items are missing like wash cloths in the room. "

"The architecture is stunning. We had a spa day at Marengo Spa located in the property, and had a tasty breakfast at the 1890 restaurant. Rooms were clean and nice, bathroom was well-equipped and we appreciated the free coffee in the room. Hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do: Playhouse Square, shops and restaurants. We would stay again! "
