"Not the cheapest place to stay but it’s a beautiful hotel, with a great history restored (and improved upon) its former glory. Service is great, rooms are spacious and location is excellent. What’s not to like. Rather strange that a member of staff challenged a friend of mine who knocked on my door in quite an officious manner, but you can’t get everything right. "

"Marco at the concierge desk was so helpful helping me figure out how to swim at the Olympic pool. The doormen were great, hailing us cabs in the rain. The concierge desk also recommended a place for my daughter to get a haircut. We spent some time in front of the fire in the lobby as well...such a cozy spot! "
