"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you quickley. kind regards to all at penny Hedge. "Lovely modern hotel, fab food"

"Had a lovely stay here. Welcoming staff on arrival, clean , comfy and spacious rooms, a better than expected gym, and nice food. The rooms were cosy and had everything required, free toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch. The gym was great considering it was a hotel gym, lots of equipment and free weights. Didn’t use the spa but looked more than good enough and clean. Ate here for breakfast and evening meal. Wasn't a massive menu but a good selection and was enjoyable. A little longer wait between courses than preferred but was quite busy. A special mention to Wendy on reception. Very welcoming, informative and above all a lovely lady. "
