"Exceptional from check-in to check-out. The staff are what makes the place, they couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a hassle. The rooms are amazing and the gardens /playground and leisure centre are fantastic. Stayed one night with my teenage daughter and there was no need to leave the property as there was enough to do."

"The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. Make sure you make dinner reservations well before you get there as the restaurants on property fill up quickly. The activities should also be booked well in advance. Many we wished to do were already booked out. We wanted to do the falcon lessons and whiskey tasting but they were not available. The horseback riding was quite fun and about 20 minutes away by taxi. "
