"Wonderful experience. The house is stunning and the room is comfortable and very clean.
The pool is incredible.
When high tide, we could just jump in the ocean right down the house
The staff is very friendly and polite. The Chef makes the best burgers ever.
The house is quiet but only 10 minutes away from all restaurants and bars from Nungwi
A very good combination of hideaway.

"Excellent surroundings - a lot of shadow, a lot of sun beds right next to the ocean - great! Good restaurant with nice place to sit and chill whole day. :)
Rooms location is strange as it faces parking, not nice to spend time there, but rooms inside are clean and comfortable.
The main drawback - NO POOL. The hotel is located in place with no beach, so at low tide you are not able to swim.
Location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, no option for short walk etc."

"A smaller hotel but with provided a great experience. The staff were outstanding from reception to the bar. The rooms were very cool (we had a family room) and large, clean and very well appointed. The restaurant always looked good with many options enough to satisfy kids too. The kids also loved the pool & table tennis games room. The Dive centre in the hotel was also excellent and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It all worked well. Just over an hour from the airport but plenty stuff...

"We had an amazing stay at Sunshine Marine Lodge. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The reception team helped with arranging tours and activities - we especially loved the tour of Stone Town! The hotel also offers transfer services from the airport, which was really convenient. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. The food was also great, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast and the daily specials for lunch and dinner. Cannot recommend this stay enough!"

"Paradise City, as the name says it is in deed paradise. 10-15 minutes from Nungwi town. They have a restaurant onsite with delicious food. Rooftop dinning or sea view dinning, either way the views are stunning and i was able to find space anytime of day. The staff is definitely a credit to this villa extremely helpful, polite and go the extra mile for you.
The villa was beautiful, and i felt safe at all time. Thank you for making my Zanzibar trip 1 to remember. "

"We chose Zuri for the second week of our honeymoon, as we wanted some luxury after a busy week on safari in Kenya and we were not dissappointed! This is truly one of the best hotels we have stayed at, from the beautiful rooms (we stayed in a standard bungalow), to the absolutely exceptional standard of food across all of fhe restaurant options at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet breakfast is without doubt the best buffet breakfast we have experienced, a vast range of choices which change slightly day to day. We generally chose to eat a light lunch either on the beach or by the pool each day, the standard of which was also excellent. We ate at both the buffet dinner and also at the A L Carte, both of which were fantastic. We also chose to book the "Romantic dinner" on the beach for our last night which was also a wonderful private dining experience. We also booked a couples massage at the spa which was very enjoyable. The hotel offers 2 daily wellness sessions included with all boards basis, we took part in the yoga sessions which was a lovely way to start the day, as well as making use of the gym. We also went on the "spice tour", a tour of the Zuri spice garden, which was very interesting. Both the private beach and pool area were absolutely beautiful, with more than enough sun beds for the guests. Finally, the level of service from every single member if staff was exceptional, everyone was extremely attentive and very friendly. We would definitely book again!"

"This is my second time staying at Meliá, and it won’t be my last. It’s not only because the hotel and grounds are beautiful. It’s the staff, they are exceptional, they’re the most friendly, smiley, professional and provide amazing service. Every room is cleaned twice a day and I’ve left valuables lying around and everything has always been safe.
My only complaint this time was that there was no working light in the shower but other than that everything was 10/10."
