"Excellent surroundings - a lot of shadow, a lot of sun beds right next to the ocean - great! Good restaurant with nice place to sit and chill whole day. :) Rooms location is strange as it faces parking, not nice to spend time there, but rooms inside are clean and comfortable. The main drawback - NO POOL. The hotel is located in place with no beach, so at low tide you are not able to swim. Location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, no option for short walk etc."

"Wonderful experience. The house is stunning and the room is comfortable and very clean. The pool is incredible. When high tide, we could just jump in the ocean right down the house The staff is very friendly and polite. The Chef makes the best burgers ever. The house is quiet but only 10 minutes away from all restaurants and bars from Nungwi A very good combination of hideaway. We highly recommend this Villa"

We have to call 5 times to get shampoo in the room and although we pay all inclusive, at the end of our stay the bar man at the library bar asked us to pay…. Worst stay in a hotel. Do not stay here, plenty of options in Zanzibar, Melia should not be rated as a 5 starts hotel. "
