The room was like a cheap college dorm room. No dresser with drawers...lived out of our suitcases. The toilet paper was the cheapest quality. The triangular shower stall was uncomfortable to use. One box of tissues by the window...not in the bathroom. The breakfast coffee was good.

The Ibis Riverside is great value! We loved the location, which was convenient for public transport but off of the main thoroughfare, and a river view is worth paying extra for. We didn’t have breakfast included but ended up paying for the breakfast buffet because it was such a great way to start the day. Our room was small but large enough -- who wants to spend time in a hotel when there’s so much to do outside! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great budget hotel. Great value. Great location. I’ve stayed here many times. The friendly staff , gardens, breakfast buffet, and location are the most notable things about IBIS Bangkok Riverside.Keep in mind that this is a budget hotel. The rooms are basic. Don’t expect 5 star hotel amenities. Staff and services are excellent. I’ve stayed here at least 40 times and have no complaints. Great value for this location by the river in Bangkok. If you’re wanting a luxury hotel experience you’ll have to pay at least triple what IBIS charges.
