"The hotel was located in a sketchy area. The road to the hotel was filled with deep potholes and lots of water from the recent rain. I went to check in. The check in area was not very welcoming and smelled like a restaurant kitchen. I was given a room # and key. I confirmed the room number twice. I went to open the door of the room and someone was already in there. I did not open the door all the way, so I did not see the person. They were startled when I opened the door and yelled out "there is someone in here". I went back to the office and told them the room they gave me was occupied. They then gave me another room. We went to the room and the key would not work. The light stayed red when tapped. It did not turn green to open the door. I went back to the office again and told them the key did not work. The office worker came with me to open the door. This time the key worked. We got into the room and it was not very warm or inviting. We went to get our luggage out of the car and a man who was standing at the traffic light intersection begging for money walked by us counting his $$. There were other questionable individuals present. At this point we had an awful gut feeling and decided should not stay here. We did not feel safe. We decided to return the key and find another hotel in a better area. "

"My room when I first arrived was dirty. Hair in the bed and used toilet paper let in the room for me to use. Trash in the trash can, Then my security lock broke. Because it had been fix so many times the screws fell out. Brought it to the front desks attention, was told maintenance would fix it on Saturday. So I went from Friday to Monday when I checked out with no security lock for my safety. Checked in on Monday and two days later refrigerator is not cooling anything. Finally got one at the end of the day. I was not a good experience for the price they charged. "

"The hot tub had a dirt ring in it. There was no towels by the pool. We had to run back and take the ones from our room. The key reader didn’t work to let you have access. You had to get the front desk to open the pool door every time you needed access. "

"horrible experience, room smelled of smoke, the paint in room was not complete, and the mini refrigerator in room starting defrosting water all over the room! charged me more for my dog than the website stated… place needs to be tore down "

"Awful experience. We were taken to our first room it had a horrible odor. Smelled musky or maybe even moldy. Went out talked with front desk gentleman & he had a young lady come . He said there was no other rooms available we could have refund. She said she could find something. There's no elevator so anything you book on the second floor you have to do the steps. That wasn't an option traveling with my elderly mother and my granddaughter (baby). The young lady takes us to a second room on the first floor. We quickly looked it over and told them we would be out in a minute to discuss it with them. My mom and my granddaughters went to check out the pool & where the breakfast would be served. I had to run to a store nearby I had left my belongings at. The pool was awful as well. Where large adults were playing rough splashing making the pool have waves. Freezing cold water & again not the cleanest. After my family discussed we chose to leave. We went to the front desk to tell them we would not be staying. Now the gentleman refused refund. These rooms are awful. Smell awful. Dirty. Absolutely filthy! Candy wrappers under bed. Tub stained or dirty. The entire place smells musky. I would never recommend. "

"It was conveniently located for us and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but definitely could use some rehab. Lots of peeling paint in the bathroom. The shower faucet was loose in the wall. Desk chair was peeling. We were only here for one night and it was acceptable."
