Top Kelmscott Manor Hotel Reviews
Sudbury House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, we stayed in dog friendly room which was ground floor, near exit and garden. Beautiful outside area and gardens. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Easy walk into the little town of Farringdon. We had a great meal in the old crown coaching inn 😋 beautiful old character building. Would definitely stay again 😊"
The Market Tavern
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed one night, we wish we could've stayed longer! We had an 8 week old baby with us and were accommodated with a bassinet for her which was lovely. Our room was beautiful, with a large, very comfortable bed and plenty of room. It was clean and very well maintained. Staff were incredibly friendly, especially who I believe to be the head waitress, she was particularly kind and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast while we stayed which were both delicious. I'd definitely recommend the charcuterie to share, the focaccia is divine and my partner particularly enjoyed the full English breakfast before we checked out. The outdoor area is clean, tidy, very comfortable and relaxing. Absolutely wonderful stay overall."
The Boutique Hotel by The Snooty Mehmaan
10/10 Excellent
"An absolute Gem of an Hotel & Restaurant with only one gripe our room didn't have a window as such, it was a skylight which made the room a little claustrophobic for my wife, probably not an issue for most guests. The room was extremely clean and stylish, complementary water was provided and the standard tea, coffee and biscuits. There was a decent sized TV, we did struggle to find the standard channels something wr will ask about on our next stay, the TV is a Smart one so YouTube is available. On the whole a comfortable room and a good bed and pillows. We had booked a table for dinner, so glad we did, I chose Changezi Murgh (chicken thighs) unbelievable taste, Wife chose Onion Bhaji, the best she has had. Mains we were at fault having Spicey, we both chose Prawn Schezwan me with Rice Wife chose Spicey Noodles, the food was sensational but far too hot for us. For breakfast the following morning, I would highly recommend the Bombay Omelette. We are looking forward to returning later in the year travelling down from Nottingham just to simply relax and dine. The service and dining experience was faultless. Keep up the good work and well done to all the Team, front of house, kitchen and room service."
The Saracens Head Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"If you want a boutique, luxury hotel The Saracens Head is not for you and you are not for the Saracens Head. If you want an authentic 'staying at an inn' experience with good food, a wide selection of ales and ciders and friendly courteous staff then you won't find better. From the friendly welcome at the bar to exchanging photos of the night sky with the lady cleaning my room I was made to feel right at home. Being a bit dishevelled in places merely added to the charm of my stay and my spacious room was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view over the village square. The richness of the clientele with diners in one bar and tradesmen in another made you realise this was a place serving the whole community as well as taking in strangers such as myself. The food was so good I could not even get a table on my first night. If you are having a few nights in the Cotswolds you could do far worse than base yourself in Highworth and enjoy some genuine local offerings before heading to the more well known tourist sites. Thanks to all the Saracens Head staff for making my stay so pleasurable,"
The Plough Inn
8/10 Good
"Lovely overnight stay, with excellent breakfast."
The Vines
10/10 Excellent
"Room was great, what you would expect from a lovely little hotel in the country side. Well located out the way. Very quite and very comfy beds parking was very good and no issues"
The Bell Inn
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed 2 nights at The Bell Inn, and found it to be quiet and comfortable. Tucked away from the crowds, but within easy reach of all the charming Cotswold villages. The food was also tasty. They do an included continental breakfast of yogurt, granola, fruits, croissants, and jam. But ordering dinner there is worthwhile. Nice place for a pint and a pizza."
The New Inn Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A great place full of character. The evening meal and breakfast was outstanding and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. If you want a taste of the Cotswolds without all the hype and commercialism then the New Inn and Lechlade are worth a visit."
The Highworth Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very nice people and a nice convenient place to stay. The building is outdated but that gives a bit of charm to the whole stay."
