"Really lovely motel with lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable. The shower was incredible, like a therapy session in itself. We were less impressed by the adjoining diner. The food missed the mark a bit, although the restaurant itself and the ambience was good."

"For an overnight stay on a budget, this was fantastic. The bed was comfy, decent pillows and duvet, the sheets and towels were lovely and clean and I really liked the brand of toiletries. The hotel/pub is really big and could do with some updating, but this would needs huge investment, so I'm not surprised at overall condition, but it's functional, clean and tidy. There were two bars one for side was food/restaurant and the other drinks, darts and sport on the TV. Lots of locals, I had a great conversation with locals whilst enjoying a few pints. Very big outdoor area at the back with heaters and a very large TV with sport on. Fantastic stick of beverages, I had some spicy chicken wings and apple pie with fresh cream, both were delicious. AJ (landlord) was very welcoming. The general atmosphere was busy and enjoyable. I will definitely come back again for a stopover stay."

"The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. "

"Not great at all. I believe there was a change of ownership 3 weeks ago. Breakfast was poor. Asked for a vegetarian option and there was none. Room house keeping did not happen. Room was fairly clean but carpet was horrid overall. Overall not a great experience. A shame as the reviews seemed good. "

"The Market Tavern is a little gem and a very welcome find! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, nice room and bar / restaurant. The star of the show is the food which was superb. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24. Ok, it wasn't a fillet or a rib-eye, it was a rump (a so called inferior cut!) But the chef here knows that it's about the cooking and not the cut! Well cooked, tasty and satisfying - all at a great price! What more could you want! A clever move that will bring in the punters! The breakfast (included in the room rate) was also excellent. We have friends in the area and just needed an over night stay so this will definitely be our go to place when we're in the area. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly - we'll be back!"

"I had a truly exceptional stay at The Snooty Mehmaan. The experience began even before I arrived, thanks to a thoughtful courtesy call to confirm my check-in. Upon arrival, I was greeted with genuine warmth, and the staff kindly escorted my luggage to a room that was both stunning and impeccably clean. The highlight, however, was the evening meal. Every dish featured incredibly fresh ingredients and was presented with real elegance. I have already booked my return visit and cannot recommend this gem highly enough. "
