Best Western Plus Sandusky Hotel & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Room seemed clean, no musty or other bad smells. Hallway was clean, no carpet stains or such issues. The breakfast seemed fresh with sausage and eggs being tasty and hot."

Bayshore Resort at Put-in-Bay

"Check in is at 4 got there at 330 said room wasn’t ready they would text me when ready never got text or call had to go back and remind them finally got room around 5pm go up to room then key card didn’t work had go get it replaced rented a golf cart and it had problems with steering and the parking brake wouldn’t work had to take it back and was told they didn’t have other one but they come up with one it was run down but better then the first one. It was a bad start but it got better by the next day. "

"Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Offered you free bottles of water. Pool was very clean and fun with two slides. Kids had so much fun. Very close and convenient to Cedar Point. Bed was comfortable and had a refrigerator and microwave in room. It’s an older property but well maintained and very clean."

"Nice place, clean. More onsite activities should be done at the pool to make it more resort like. Also, it would benefit guests and the hotel if the pool bar was open so people can purchase snacks and drinks. The property layout is too spread out. Being handicapped, rooms were WAY too far from lobby, restaurants and the pool area. For this property and others…I don’t feel that the “send someone to the pool early to lay towels on all the pool chairs” is a good policy. We went to the pool early, a couple people were there but no chairs were available since they were all “taken” (by towels)"

Cedar Cove

"Room was clean and the location was very close to Cedar Point. The fan on the air conditioner was loud and ran continuously, so if noise bothers you, if my annoy you. If you turned it off the room got stuffy. It was OK for us. The breakfast was an added bonus, but they kept running out of the pancake mix in the pancake maker, especially if you went the last 1/2 hour."
