Kefalonia Grand Hotel

"Great location on the waterfront in Argostoli and close walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Bus station is about a 15 minute walk away. Room had a side view of the water with spacious balcony which was sunny all day. Room was clean and cleaned daily, but starting to show its age from wear. The floor was marked, curtains spotted with old mould marks, and not all the lights worked despite being informed the issue had been referred. The design of the building made it noisy especially at night with others coming and going, loud doors and talking. The balcony could also have benefitted from a small washing line for drying beach clothes. The restaurant was good with good choice of food in the day and evening, but breakfasts were hectic with tables not always available. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly."

"This is a fantastic family hotel. Great value for money. Mary the concierge was incredibly helpful and friendly, organizing planed activities for us. We can’t thank the hotel enough for making this a wonderful holiday. The location is great, beautiful pool, great swimming by the rocks. Big rooms, delicious breakfast!!"

"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were exceptional, very helpful and knowledgeable on Island things to do and places to eat. Our room was close to the incredible beach. The breakfast was exceptional with great staff and served a variety of local and international food. Thank you!"

"Very clean and beautiful hotel, the pool area is super nice. Very easy walk to Makris Gialos beach and short drive to Argostoli or the airport. The restaurant and breakfast are fantastic, very attentive and kind staff."

"We had ten nights at the hotel and I can honestly say it was faultless. The staff are wonderful, the bedrooms comfortable and so roomy and the whole hotel is exceptionally clean. There is a palpable sense of pride in the hotel which is reflected in how well it is run and maintained. We shall definitely return."
