"The staff here are incredibly warm, friendly, professional, and efficient! Though the hotel itself is a bit dated, the location and views are absolutely spectacular. And the property's quaintness is nostalgic and charming :) My fiancé and I stayed here and witnessed multiple incredible sunrises + sunsets, enjoyed the pool and ocean views, and were especially grateful for a generous room upgrade when the room we initially booked wasn't ready for us. It's also in an extremely convenient and walkable location! Highly recommend."

"The owner and everyone who works there are so incredibly warm and friendly! We didn't stay long, but thoroughly enjoyed our time at this quaint and historic inn. The lush mountains in the backdrop, blooming bushes all around the property, and free live music + a delicious complimentary breakfast were some of our favorite things about it. The beds are comfortable, and the location is great. Fun fact: it's the oldest hotel in all of Hawai'i! Def recommend."

"Loved the location and the room was nice! Incredible beach front views and restaurant. Had a fun, vintage motel vibe. Good price for Kauai. The outside of buildings felt a bit weathered and more motel than I was expecting, but the rooms inside were great and the property was beautiful! I would go back. I found the front desk staff pretty cold and not helpful with recommendations, but it was mostly one person I dealt with."

"The pool was only open the first day of our stay and was closed the rest. Not being able to use the ceiling fan wasn't cool. It was weird that the coffee maker had to be moved to use since it wasn't plugged it and I couldn't reach the socket. The shower was amazing for tall people!"

"The ocean front room was amazing and staff were great but the pool was terribly underwhelming. We were so excited to rent a cabana and do a pool day on one of our vacation days but the status of the pool caused us to cancel and reassess our plans."
