Kaua'i Palms Hotel

"The first room that I paid for through Expedia and checked in was super hot they did not turn on the AC before we arrived so it was like 90°. We had three twin beds and one small AC. It was not acceptable so we asked if we can be moved. They moved us into a cottage which ended up costing 90 extra dollars for the night, but it had three small ACs And definitely was worth the upgrade for a better night sleep it was extremely hot and humid we was not able to get any of the amenities. I think all they offered was coffee anyways so it was about $300 for a night. It was OK. It looked like it was pretty close to several little restaurants but we did not go to them. We had other things on our agenda that we were doing. Next time I would pay a little extra and possibly have a pool and some other amenities for about the same price or a little bit more."

"Unbeknownst to me my room was aligned with the valet parking spaces and main entrance to the hotel. Through out the night until they filled those spots all I heard was the car alarms for opening and closing and sitting the alarm’s for these vehicles. Then it started back up as early as 6 am beeping alarms to opening of these cars doors. I don’t believe that this was a first time that the hotel has been made aware of this and it’s not an ideal room to have your balcony literally on the main entrance and there valet parking right outside your door. The room was clean and comfortable it just wasn’t a vacation type atmosphere because it was irritating to have to put up with such a unnecessary noise."

"Stick with the resort food, the restaurants (dukes and cafe portifino are not great, especially at their prices) but the sushi on site and the bar restaurant are very good. The pool is beautiful, great beach access, luau was fun. Check out gaylords rum tour, best part of the trip!"

"Great place for a perfect hawaii vacation! very close to malls and food places. There was a connecting bridge closure but it had opened up towards the end of our trip! The place is wonderful staff is great. we enjoyed the pool. They provide free towels picnic chairs snorkelling gears for day use, which is wonderful. Breakfast was amazing! fresh fruits bagels tea cofee and pancakes. I loved the evening sshows they host with hawaiian singers and dancers, kind if your own private lauau with few other vsiitors. Love this place!"
